In Town As a citizen of Valley View, Texas, I can say that's it's nothing much. The schools are pretty good, everybody knows your name, and only about an hour from Dallas, you're in close proximity to the hustle and bustle of the metroplex. The Valley View high school varsity football team had the honor this year of being the district 16-A class 1A district co-champs. There are three restaurants in Valley View, one just going out of business as of a few weeks ago. The remaining two are Valle's Pizza, and a Dairy Queen franchise. The only thing keeping this small community alive is a major trucking company hub, and a feed mill, both owned by Alan Ritchey, INC. Oh, we also have one bank. External links
