University Of Naples

The University of Naples is the third Italian university and was initiated in 1224 by Emperor Frederick II. It is known as one of the first universities to be founded by a secular ruler. Under his rule, he built the university to train judges and other administrators, and to give the people fundamental training. In this university, students began with the trivium grammar, rhetoric, and logic.
