Tuesdays With Morrie

Tuesdays With Morrie was a 1999 television movie based on a 1997 novel of the same name by Mitch Albom. It is the true story of Brandeis University sociology professor Morrie Schwartz (played by Jack Lemmon) and his relationship with student Mitch Albom (played by Hank Azaria). Both the film and the book chronicle the lessons about life that Mitch learns from his professor, who is dying from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or Lou Gehrig's Disease.
