Tubax

The Tubax is a modified contrabass saxophone made by Benedikt Eppelsheim. The tubax has a much narrower bore, like a sarrusophone, and is made to have the same fingering as a contrabass saxophone as well as take a baritone saxophone mouthpiece. It is tuned in Bb. Benedikt Eppelshiem is also making a CC and BBb tubax. The BBb tubax is the subcontrabass saxophone thought of by Adolphe Sax but never created.
