Trunks Saga Trunks Saga is the name of the sixth saga of the Anime Dragon Ball Z, feathuring Freeza's arrival on Earth, his death by the hands of Trunks, and Trunks' warning about the Androids. Trunks Saga (7 episodes) Episode 103: Frieza's Counterattack - Gohan is presented to his new tutor, because he lost too much time fighting on Planet Namek. Gohan is glad those days are over, now. His tutor is extremely hard, and whips him all the time. When his teacher makes a break, Gohan dreams his father returned. They both go to Gohan's room, and suddenly, Goku turns into Frieza! When Frieza is about to kill Gohan, he awakes, with an angry tutor at his side. When his tutor was about to whip him again, Gohan grabs the whip and smashes it. Chi-chi comes in, and seeing how hard that man was on her son, she throws him out of the window. In the meantime, Frieza is shown as a robot standing near his father, and they are both going to Earth...
Episode 104: The Mysterious Youth - The Z Fighters sense those two evil beings that are Frieza and his father, King Cold. They prepare to battle, and everyone is summoned, including Piccolo, (altough he was still a bit dangerous), and Vegeta, who began an affair with Bulma. Frieza's ship arrives, and the evil tyrant explains how he was seriously injured after his battle with Goku, and how his father collected him out of middle space. He was rebuild by scientists and turned into a robot, stronger than ever. When he lands, a mysterious purple haired youth holding a sword comes to him and says that he will perish at his hands. Frieza laughs and sends his men to battle him.
Episode 105: Another Super Saiyan? - The Z Fighters also sense the mysterious youth, and comment that he is weak, and would never beat Frieza. Frieza's soldiers use their scouters and prove that the youth's power level is 5, a common number for a human. When the men attack him, he pulls his swords and kills them all, with his power level remaining at 5. Frieza knows pefectly that his men are much stronger than that. He decides to kill the youth himself, but the youth dodges Frieza's moves. The youth then asks if Goku is a Super Saiyan. Frieza is surprised, seeing that the human knows who Goku is and that he is a Super Saiyan. The youth turns into a Super Saiyan, and all the scouters explode, since the power level number is now 17 million. The youth then cuts Frieza in half with his sword, killing him. The Z Fighters are impressed. King Cold says that Frieza was weak, and invites the youth to be his new son. With no reply, the youth kills King Cold too.
Episode 106: Welcome Back Goku - After the tyrant's death, the youth meets the Z Fighters and says that Goku will land on Earth that same spot, within 3 hours. The Z Fighters don't suspect the youth since he killed Frieza for them, and sit to wait three hours. They constantly question the youth, asking his name. The youth insists on remaining anonymous, but since age is nothing personal, he says he's 16. Then, they ask him where he came from, but again he remains silent. Then, after three hours, a small space pod lands on the spot the youth appointed, and the youth meets Goku, who is wearing a bizarre costume.
Episode 107: Mystery Revealed - The youth meets Goku and reveals that he knew what Super Saiyans were, and also knew where Goku would land because he was from the future. His name was Trunks, and he had came to warn Goku. Since Goku would be late, he decided to kill Frieza by himself, but that wasn't the most important step of his journey to the past. He warned Goku about a new, powerful enemy.
Episode 108: Goku's Special Technique - Trunks said it was the Red Ribbon Army. Goku said that was impossible, since he blew it up when he was young. But Trunks said one person from the army survived: Dr. Gero. Gero wanted revenge on Goku, and build powerful Androids to kill Goku. Goku remembers Android 8, but Trunks says those Androids are pure evil, have no feelings, and where programmed to kill Goku, and destroy everything that opposed them. All of the Z Fighters where killed in the Future by the Androids, and Goku would die not by their hands, but by a heart disease. Though there was no known medicine to Goku's disease at his timeline, there was a cure at Trunks timeline. Trunks gives Goku the medicine he should have, and says the Androids will come in three years, and will appear on an island 8 miles south from West City. Goku asks Trunks how he is so strong, and Trunks replies he is Vegeta's son. Goku is quite shocked after hearing that Trunks' mother is Bulma. Trunks asks Goku not to reveal those information to his friends, apart the warning of the Android's Arrival, but Piccolo hears everything (being a Namek, he hears from large distances) but doesn't tell anybody about it. Trunks goes into the future again, saying he hopes the Z Fighters can kill the Androids. Goku meets his friends, and show them his new technique, that he learned on his way from Namek to Earth, called "Instant Transmission". He could teleport any place just by sensing chi.
Episode 109: Z Warriors Prepare - Everyone starts training. Vegeta trains just like Goku did on his trip to Namek; at high gravity levels. Vegeta's gravity room even blows up. Gohan trains with Goku and Piccolo, but tension comes between Goku and Piccolo, since Goku still doesn't trust the demon. Yamcha also wants to see how enourmous gravity is, and is pushed to the ground by 50x Gravity.
Episode 110: Goku's Ordeal - Chi-Chi reveals in the middle of Goku's training to fight the Androids that she wants her husband to drive. Chi-Chi is alo angry with Piccolo, saying it was better for him starting to do more serious things, instead of screaming, meditating and threatening to destroy the world. They both go to driving school. Goku's teacher is an old man, and Piccolo's teacher is a lady. Both warriors knock their car onto the walls, cause public disturbance and eventually quit.
