Travis Fimmel

Travis Fimmel (born July 15, 1979) is an Australian fashion model and actor. Fimmel grew up on a farm outside of Echuca, Australia. He came to the United States and had a successful audition with Calvin Klein executives. Fimmel's relatively slender physique broke out of the mold set by Calvin Klein's previous hard-body poster-boys like Mark Wahlberg, Antonio Sabato and Michael Bergin. In 2003, Fimmel was chosen to star in an American television series based on the character of Tarzan, but the show only lasted a few episodes. He was later chosen to star in another series, Rocky Point, which has not yet been broadcast. An avid barefooter, Fimmel claims to go barefoot almost exclusively.
