Tourism In China

China is a region with one of the longest histories and oldest civilizations in the world. It has a history of over five thousand years and has made impressive advancements in architecture, arts, cuisine and language. China is very large and has many areas for people to explore. It has over 56 nationalities all of which have their own culture, music and traditional customs. Touring China can be an eye opening experience. Traveling in the People's Republic of China from north to south, from east to west, you can enjoy exploring in beautiful nature, seeing different people living different lifestyles, and hearing the different dialects. Destinations of interest are Beijing, Nanjing, Xian, and others for their rich heritage in such areas as architecture and language. The Republic of China (Taiwan) also has many options for tourists, including the cities of Taipei and Kaohsiung. Chinese is one of the hardest languages to learn and speak in the world. Now English has become more and more popular in China, but still most Chinese people do not understand English. If you go touring in China, you better learn some simple Chinese, such as restaurant (fan dian), bathroom (ce suo), thank you (xie xie).
