Toto (Dog)

Toto is the name of a dog in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz series of children's books. Toto belonged to Dorothy, the heroine of the first and many subsequent books. In later books, Toto revealed that he was able to talk, just like other animals in the Land of Oz. In the film version, Toto was played by a black Cairn Terrier whose real name was Terry.
