tomoyasu hotei

Tomoyasu Hotei (1962 February 1-,布袋寅泰,born in Takasaki, Gunma) is a Japanese musician, guitarist and actor. He was a member of the rock group BOWY from 1982 to 1988.Kyosuke Himuro is the same band's member. In addition to releasing many solo albums, Hotei composed & performed the score for Nakano Hiroyuki's Samurai Fiction, as well as starring in the film. His music has been featured in the movies Kill Bill and (though is not included on the CD issued for the latter's soundtrack), as well as the album Merry Axemas. His wife is Miki Imai.
