Tomcat Catalina

In computing, Catalina is a servlet container for Java based Web technologies. Developed by the Apache's Jakarta Project, this technology uses the Servlet and JavaServer Pages (JSP) specifications defined by the Sun Microsystems' Java team. Tomcat's servlet container was designed as Catalina in Tomcat version 4.x. The architect for Catalina was Craig McClanahan.
