Tito OkelloTito Okello (1914 - June 3 1996) was the leader of Uganda from July 1985 until January 1986. He ruled for six months until he was overthrown by the National Resistance Army operating under the leadership of the current president, Yoweri Museveni. His son Henry Oryem Okello is the current Minister of State for Education and Sport and his brother, Erisanweri Opira, was abducted by the Lord's Resistance Army rebels of Uganda. His abduction was considered unusual as he is in his late seventies and the LRA usually only takes prospective soldiers. He was kidnapped at his home in the Kitgum District of northern Uganda.
