Thriller (Song)

"Thriller" is a 1984 hit single recorded by Michael Jackson for the Epic label. Written by Rod Temperton, produced by Quincy Jones, and featuring a guest "rap" from Vincent Price, "Thriller" is one of Jackson's signature songs, in no small part because of its music video. The single was included on Jackson's Thriller album, released on December 1, 1982. The fourteen-minute "Thriller" music video, directed by John Landis, was less a video and more a full-fledged short subject or mini-movie; a horror film spoof featuring choreographed monsters doing Jackson's dance moves. The "Thriller" video premiered on MTV exactly a year after the album's release: December 1, 1983. The song is hailed as one of the best and most-popular music videos of all time.
