Thom Mayne

) is an
architect
in the
United States
who is widely recognized as a leader in the next generation of architects in "the Los Angeles School." He is the principal of the architectural firm
Morphosis
based in
Santa Monica, California
. In March 2005, it was announced that Mayne will receive the
Pritzker Architecture Prize
