The Writer's Almanac

The Writer's Almanac is a daily radio program of poetry and (mostly literary) history. It is hosted by Garrison Keillor, presented by Minnesota Public Radio's American Public Media, and distributed by Public Radio International. Each program is about five minutes long and ends, 'Be well, do good work, and keep in touch." "Keep in touch" is an empty phrase, since The Writer's Almanac does not respond to individual readers or listeners. Long on whimsy and style, The Writer's Almanac is rife with factual errors, rendering it unreliable as an almanac.
