The Negotiator

The Negotiator is a 1998 drama/thriller film, directed by F. Gary Gray. It stars Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Spacey. The Negotiator is also the name of a book by Frederick Forsyth, on which the movie is loosly based. Samuel L. Jackson's character Danny, a top hostage negotiator is framed for the murder of a cop. The only way he can stop going to jail and prove his innocence is to take drastic measures and take hostages himself. Kevin Spacey is the hostage negotiator called in to talk Danny out of what he is doing.
