The NegotiatorThe Negotiator is a 1998 drama/thriller film, directed by F. Gary Gray. It stars Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Spacey. The Negotiator is also the name of a book by Frederick Forsyth, on which the movie is loosly based. Samuel L. Jackson's character Danny, a top hostage negotiator is framed for the murder of a cop. The only way he can stop going to jail and prove his innocence is to take drastic measures and take hostages himself.
