The Moonlighters

The Moonlighters, a sentimental, old-fashioned Hawaiian music combo, has its roots in the more aggressive art rock of the '80s and '90s. The group started in 1998 when Bliss Blood of The Pain Teens began playing ukelele with steel guitarist Henry Bogdan (former bassist of Helmet) and Daria Klotz of God Is My Co-Pilot. Daria left the band, and they were later joined by bassist Andrew Hall and actress/singer/guitarist Carla Murray. The group has recorded three albums: Dreamland in 2000, Hello Heartstring in 2002 and Live in Baden-Baden in 2004.
