The Makioka Sisters (細雪 "Sasameyuki," lit. "light snow") (1983) is a cinematic adaptation of Tanizaki Junichiro's novel of the same name, directed by Kon Ichikawa and starring Kishi Keiko as Tsuruko, Sakuma Yoshiko as Sachiko, Yoshinaga Sayuri as Yukiko and Kotegawa Yuko as Taeko.
