The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers

The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers was the first program broadcast on the fledgling Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX). It first aired on October 9, 1986. Ratings for the television program soon sagged, and the behind-the-scenes relations between star Joan Rivers and network executives at Fox quickly eroded. The series was quietly cancelled in 1987.
