In its cast were William Powell (as Ziegfeld), Myrna Loy (as Ziegfeld's wife Billie Burke), Luise Rainer (as the actress Anna Held), Nat Pendleton (as strongman Eugen Sandow), Frank Morgan and Virginia Bruce.
