Telstra Tower

The Telstra Tower in the Australian federal capital city of Canberra as well as serving as one of the best landmarks, provides vital communication facilities for the city. Situated atop Black Mountain and rising a further 195 metres above the summit, this modern structure offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside. The tower was opened in 1980 and as well as providing said communications, also provides both inside and outside viewing galleries, a telecommunications museum, cafe, revolving restaurant and gift shop.
