Survivor SeriesWWE Survivor Series is one of the pay-per-view events produced by World Wrestling Entertainment. There have been eighteen Survivor Series events starting from 1987. The event is usually characterized by having four on four (or sometimes five on five) tag-team elimination matches. These matches are generally just referred to as Survivor Series Matches. A look back at some unforgettable Survivor Series moments: - At Survivor Series 1990, The Undertaker debuted as the Million Dollar Man's mystery teammate.
- At Survivor Series 1997, the infamous Montreal Screwjob occurred between Bret Hart and Vince McMahon, in Hart's championship defense against Shawn Michaels.
- At Survivor Series 1999, Stone Cold Steve Austin was run over by Rikishi with an automobile just so Triple H could avoid a title defense against Steve.
- At Survivor Series 2000, Rikishi kept on attacking his own family member, "The Rock". At the same event, Steve Austin lifted Triple H's car with a forklift and tipped it over — while Triple H was in it.
- At Survivor Series 2001, a winner takes all match between Team WWE, consisting of "The Big Show", Kane, The Undertaker, Chris Jericho and "The Rock" vs. The Alliance, consisting of Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Booker T, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shane McMahon took place. Team WWE won, so ECW and WCW came to an end.
- At Survivor Series 2002, Paul Heyman betrayed Brock Lesnar and turned onto "The Big Show's" side. Also at the event there was an Eliminationtion Chamber match featuring Triple H, Shawn Micheals, Kane, Booker T, Rob Van Dam and Chris Jericho.
- At Survivor Series 2003, Stone Cold had to leave and during the Buried Alive match between Undertaker and Vince McMahon, Kane interfered and helped Vince bury the Undertaker alive. The buriel of the Undertaker is a very important part of Mark Calloways career as a couple of months later he returns in the Lord Of Darkness gimmick.
- At Survivor Series 2004, Randy Orton led his team to victory, gaining himself and his team of Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit and Maven the power to run WWE RAW for one week each.
- The 2005 edition is scheduled to take place on November 27, 2005.
The Survivor Series is the second longest pay-per-view event in WWE history, behind Wrestlemania.
