Supreme Court Of Norway

The Supreme Court of Norway, located in Oslo, is Norway's most superior court. It was established in 1815. Currently it consists of 18 judges in addition to the Chief Justice. In most lawsuits the court meets in quorum, with five of the judges that meet to form the court. In special cases, especially when earlier decisions (with dissenting votes) is to be changed, the court meets in plenum.
