Streets Of Fire

Streets of Fire is a 1984 film, directed by Walter Hill, and co-written by Hill and Larry Gross. It is described as "a Rock & Roll Fable". The film stars Michael Par, Diane Lane, Rick Moranis, Amy Madigan,E.G. Daily, and Willem Dafoe. The film was produced by Universal Pictures as their major summer release but was a box office flop (perhaps due in part to its back then unknown cast). In recent years, this movie has achieved somewhat of a cult status, partly due to its soundtrack of established artists and the fake bands that were portrayed by Diane Lane as Ellen Aim and the Attackers. The story is as follows: A local girl (Diane Lane) made good goes back to her roots to give a concert in her home town and in the middle of her song gets kidnapped by Raven (Willem Dafoe), the leader of the bike gang 'The Bombers'. In the audience is the sister of her ex-boyfriend who brings back her brother, played by (Michael Par) to get her back. An ex-army girl assists him, for a price. With the present boyfriend tugging along, the two infiltrates the den of 'The Bombers' and set the singer free. Raven in turn brings his whole gang to get his revenge.
