Steve Jurvetson

Steven T. Jrvetson (born in Arizona, USA) is a Managing Director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ). He was the founding Venture Capitalist (VC) investor in Hotmail, Interwoven, and Kana. He also led the firm's investments in Tradex and Cyras (acquired by Ariba and Ciena). Currently DFJ helds investments in number of businesses, including Skype. Steve Jrvetson has graduated Stanford University, ph.D. Jrvetson holds a second ph.D (in business management) from Stanford Business School. Ethnically Estonian, Jrvetson is a son of Estonian refugees, who escaped from Estonia during World War II.
