stephenville, newfoundland and labrador

Stephenville is a town on the west coast of Newfoundland. Stephenville is home to the former Ernest Harmon Air Force Base, operated by the United States military from 1941 to 1966. When the Americans pulled out, they left Stephenville with a 10,000+ foot runway and many buildings, not to mention much toxic waste. Currently, it is a home for around 8000 - 9000 inhabitants.
