springwood catholic church

Springwood Catholic Church is located at 168 Hawkesbury Rd Springwood. It is located on a beautiful natural bushland property called St Columbas.The whole property is a listed Heritage property. St Columbas was a training seminary for Catholic Priests and was started in 1910. It closed in 1971 to become a Primary Catholic School-(St Thomas Aquinas Primary School), A Secondary Catholic School(St Columbas Secondary School) St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church The property has a rich heritage of past aboriginal occupation dating back at least 20,000 years It also has an abundance of natural bushland with many threatened & endangered plant & animal species. Hopefully most of the property will remain protected for its valuable Heritage issues.
