Soul Plane

Soul Plane is a 2004 motion picture from MGM, released in the United States on May 28, 2004. The predominantly African-American comedy, which has been described as an African-American remake of Airplane!, stars Method Man, Tom Arnold, Sommore,D.L. Hughley, Mo'Nique Imes-Jackson, K.D. Aubert, John Witherspoon and Snoop Dogg. Sometimes compared to Johnson Family Vacation; Soul Plane is the story of a man who gets stuck in an airplane toilet, wins a large settlement from the airline, and decides to use that money to start an airline that caters to African Americans. A white family is mistakenly booked on Soul Plane's first flight. The father of the family is not generally amused by this, but the rest of the family seems to enjoy the rap music and velvet seats. The plane they use in this movie is awesome. It contains a hip hop club, and a very posh First Class area. The exterior of the plane is covered in purple velvet and the plane features hydrolics. Snoop Dogg is the pilot and smokes pot while flying the plane.
