So Pedro (Vila Franca Do Campo)

So Pedro (Portuguese for Saint Peter) ais a parish in the district of Vila Franca do Campo in the Azores. The population in 2001 is 1,120, its density is 451.6/km² and the area is 2.48 km/248 ha. It is located E of Ponta Delgada and Lagoa, S of Ribeira Grande and W of Furnas and Povoao. So Pedro has a school, a lyceum, and a small square (praa). Most of the land are pastures and mized farming. Agriculture is its main economy in So Pedro. The forests are to the mountains. It is the smallest and the most populated parish in Vila Franca do Campo. Sao Pedro
