SlupskSłupsk (pronounce: ['swupsk], German Stolp) is a city in Middle Pomerania region and the capital of the region, in north-western Poland with some 100,000 inhabitants. It is also the capital of Slupsk County in Pomeranian Voivodship since 1999, previously the capital of the Slupsk Voivodship (1975-1998) It is a beautiful town only about 20 km from the Baltic sea. In relation to one of its more well known neighbours, it is about 120 km west of Gdansk.
