Six Flags AmericaSix Flags America is a theme park that is part of the theme park chain Six Flags. The park is located in Mitchellville, Maryland, nearby Washington, DC and Baltimore. Six Flags America was formerly known as Wild World and was owned by a private individual. It was then sold to Tierco, a real estate firm who subsequently changed its name to Premier Parks and was known as Adventure World then. Then, when Premier Parks acquired Six Flags from Warner Brothers, the park took on its current name, Six Flags America. Many local people who has been going to Six Flags America when it was Adventure World have stated that the park has gotten worse since it became Six Flags America.
