Sic Et Non

Sic et non: written by Pierre Ablard. Translates to "Yes and No". The author took many theological issues and quoted Church Fathers on one side next to quoted Fathers on the other. Contradicting views were reconciled by Abelard when he explains language is ambiguous as is content, and that with closer study the presented quotes may be answering different questions.
