Shut UpShut up is a form up "Be Quiet," only angrier, meaner, more commanding. It is most popular among children and teens though adults sometimes use it. In western cultures, "Shut Up" has become a bad habit, especially among children and that becomes clear, when you anylze the words purely rather than converting it in "Be Quiet,". As in that, shut, up just only means the close sometime upwards. It's origin is probably unknown, but most likely to have originated in the United States, by children, the most populative users.
