Shin

In anatomy, the shin is the lower anterior portion of the leg. In humans, it is especially painful to be kicked or otherwise directly struck on the shin.
Shin (ש) is a letter of the Hebrew alphabet. It is typically transcribed sh. It may have inspired the form of the letter Sha in the Glagolitic alphabet.
Shin (Hangul: 신, Hanja: 申) is one of the few Korean family surnames.
Shin is a river in the Scottish North West Highlands. The river flows from Loch Shin into the Dornoch Firth and then into the North Sea. The river is just 7 miles (11,2 km) long.
