Shikotsu-toya National ParkShikotsu-Toya National Park (支笏洞爺国立公園 Shikotsu-toya-kokuritsukōen) is a national park in the central part of the island of Hokkaido, Japan. The park is named after the volcanic caldera lakes of Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya. The popular hot spring resort of Noboribetsu is also within the park. It became a national park on May 16, 1949. It has an area of 993.02 square kilometers. It can be divided into roughly five areas. External link
