Shane Rimmer

Shane Rimmer (born 1932) is a Canadian-born British senior professional actor and voice actor. He has mostly performed in supporting roles. Appearances in widely known films include roles in Dr. Strangelove, The Spy Who Loved Me, Out of Africa and Gandhi, or more recently Spy Game and Hellboy. In the earlier years of his career, there were several uncredited performances, among others for films such as Diamonds Are Forever, You Only Live Twice and Star Wars. Rimmer has a long association with Gerry Anderson. Thunderbirds fans may recognize him as the voice actor behind the character Scott Tracy. He also wrote scripts and provided uncredited voices for Captain Scarlet and Joe 90, made a cameo appearance in an episode of Anderson's live-action UFO, starred in the unscreened pilot Space Police (later made into a series with other actors as Space Precinct) and provided the voice for Anderson's stop-motion gumshoe Dick Spanner, P.I..
