Sequoia Capital

Sequoia Capital is a venture capital firm founded by Don Valentine in 1972. They are reputedly the bluest of the blue-chip venture capitalists with a record that includes household names like Electronic Arts, Google and Cisco. Like most VCs they also do a great job of hiding their failures such as Chipshot (an internet startup that tried to manufacture golf clubs for several years until they realized that their only customers were VCs). The firm's partners include Don Valentine, Pierre Lamond, Michael Moritz, Doug Leone, and Mark Kvamme.
