Selkirkinterlake

SelkirkInterlake is the name of a federal electoral district in Manitoba, Canada. It has existed twice: from 1976 to 1987 and again since 1996. The first creation was carved from Portage, Selkirk and Winnipeg South Centre. It was divided into Churchill, PortageInterlake, Provencher and Selkirk. The second creation was carved from Churchill, PortageInterlake, Provencher and SelkirkRed River. The riding is located generally between Lake Winnipeg and Lake Winnipegosis and includes the northern suburbs of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The population (2001) is 86,555.
