Selig Polyscope Company

The Selig Polyscope Company was an American motion picture company founded in 1896 in Chicago, Illinois by William Selig. The company grew rapidly and by 1909 had branch studios in Los Angeles, California and New Orleans, Louisiana. The company operated until 1918.
