Schwa (Cyrillic)Cyrillic schwa (Ә, ә) is a Cyrillic letter. It is currently used in Kazakh, Bashkir, Udmurt and other languages of the ex-USSR. It was also used in Tatar, Azeri, and Turkmenian, before those languages switched to the Latin alphabet. In all Cyrillic alphabets it presented the vowel sound //, because the same sound was presented by the latin letter Schwa in Yanalif, the pan-Turkic alphabet.
