Santa Monica Airport

Santa Monica Airport is a general aviation airport located in Santa Monica, California. No commercial airlines fly into this airport, but it is often used by private and chartered aircraft. Hollywood celebrities and presidents are known to use this airport because it offers them convenience and anonymity. Originally called Clover Field, the airport was the home of the Douglas Aircraft company. The first successful round-the-world flight took off from and returned to Clover Field in 1924.
