Santa Mesa, Manila

Santa Mesa, Manila is a district in the city of Manila. Santa Mesa's name used to be Santa Misa, from the Spanish term Holy Mass. The original poblacion (town center) is in Old Santa Mesa Road, from Stop and Shop to V. Mapa. However, the town was enlarged and came to include was is now the streets of Ramon Magsaysay, Anonas, Santol, Pureza, Bataan, M.H. Dela Fuente, Bacood, and V. Mapa.
