. He was originally an
archbishop
during the heyday of the
Serb
Nemanjic
state under Tsar
Dusan Silni
in the
14th century
. He was a chronicler who wrote many
hagiographies
and
regiographies
which are considered as a part of
Serb medieval literature
. He is celebrated on the same day as Saint
Ignatius of Antioch
(Свети Игњатије Богоносац), on
December 20th
according to the
