Sahrawi

Sahrawi and Saharawi are terms most commonly used for the natives of the Morocco-administered Western Sahara. It means resident of the Sahara, which in turn stands for desert, thus the literal meaning can also be desert inhabitant. Approximately 155,000 live in refugee camps near Tindouf. The membership of the Polisario Front is primarily Sahrawi.
