Saga (Mythology)

In Norse mythology, Saga is a goddess of the Aesir, maybe another name for Frigg. She was a goddess of poetry and history. She lives in Sokkvabekkr, "hall of the sunk benches" (a ship?). The name could mean "seeing one" or (less probable) "announcer".
