Sada Jacobson

Sada Jacobson (born February 14, 1983), from Dunwoody, Georgia, is a female fencer who in 2003 became the first U.S. woman to be ranked #1 in the world in women's sabre, and only the second U.S. fencer ever to acheive the #1 in the world ranking (Keeth Smart being the first American to do so). In 2004 she qualified for the U.S. Olympic team and won the bronze medal in women's individual sabre in Athens. She is the sister of fellow U.S. Olympic team fencer Emily Jacobson.
