STMicroelectronics (abbreviation ST) is one of the world's largest semiconductor companies. It is a leading supplier of application-specific analog integrated circuits (ICs), wireless and computer peripheral ASICs, automotive and digital consumer application specific standard products (ASSPs), MPEG-2 decoder ICs, discrete semiconductor products and non-volatile memory including NOR Flash memory. ST also designs and produces microcontrollers.
