Snk Playmore

SNK Playmore is a Japanese video game company, successor to SNK. In 2001 (the year the company was founded), its name was Playmore which was later changed to the current name in 2003. At SNK's bankruptcy, they knocked down their intellectual property rights and became de facto successor of them. They caused the lawsuit of five affairs to the intellectual-property-rights infringement and so on by Aruze - one of losers of the bid - and have won the case in interlocutory decision. However, these friction, such as a retaliatory prohibition claim by Aruze, are also likely to continue from now on.
