SncasoSNCASO or Socit Nationale de Constructions Aronautiques du Sud Ouest was a French aircraft manufacturer, which originated on November 16, 1936, from the merger of the factories of Blriot of Suresnes, Bloch of Villacoublay et Courbevoie, SASO of Bordeaux-Mrignac, UCA of Bordeaux-Bgles, SAB (Socit Arienne Bordelaise) of Bordeaux-Bacalan and Lior et Olivier of Rochefort. It integrated the SNCAO (Socit Nationale de Constructions Aronautiques de l'Ouest) in 1941. On March 1, 1957, SNCASO merged with SNCASE (Socit Nationale de Constructions Aronautiques du Sud Est), to form Sud Aviation. External link * SNCASO page on AviaFrance.
