SMS Kaiser was the name-ship of the Kaiser class of battleships of the German Kaiserliche Marine in World War I. She was built at Kiel and was launched on 22 March 1911 and commissioned on 1 August 1912. She fought at the Battle of Jutland as part of the Hochseeflotte (High Seas Fleet) and at the Second Battle of Heligoland Bight 1917. She was scuttled at Scapa Flow in the Orkneys on 21 June 1919, and was subsequently salvaged and broken up at Rosyth between 1929 and 1937.
