Scotland's Forgotten Valour

SCOTLAND'S FORgotten VALOUR is a book by Graham Ross published in 1995 by MacLean Press, ISBN 1899272003. The book presents the stories of the 158 Scottish-born Victoria Cross recipients, out of a total of 1351 VCs that have been awarded. Five of the first ten Victoria Crosses awarded went to Scottish soldiers. The capitalisation in the title is a reference to the For Valour inscription on the medal.
